Unrestricted Gifts

Once you decide to donate, you can make an unrestricted or restricted gift. By choosing unrestricted, you let the RCHC Foundation Board place the funds "where most needed" This allows flexibility of using funds that meet urgent needs or to invest in the future.

Ways to Give

There are numerous ways to give a tax-deductible gift to RCHC through the Rawlins County Health Center Foundation.

Checks
Please make your check out to RCHC Foundation and mail it to P.O. Box 47, Atwood, KS, 67730, or deliver it to RCHC with attention to the Foundation Director.

Planned Gifts or Bequests:
You can designate the RCHC Foundation as the recipient of all or a portion of your estate, retirement plan, or life insurance. You also can transfer securities, real estate, or other personal property. If you are considering one of these gifts to the RCHC Foundation, please consult with your attorney, tax consultant, and the RCHC Foundation Director for arrangements.

Pledges:
Pledges of any amount are always welcome.

IRA Charitable Rollover Distribution:
Rolling over your IRA distribution to the RCHC Foundation allows you to support the foundation and possibly lower your taxable income. Please visit with your tax accountant to see if an IRA Charitable Rollover will benefit you.

Commodities:
Bushels of grain are welcome as a pledge or donation. Wheat, corn, sorghum, sunflowers, oats—even livestock—are also accepted.

Volunteering and In-kind Donations:
Please call or visit the RCHC Foundation Director to volunteer your services or before donating a tangible item to the Foundation. A designated representative must determine if the item would fulfill a need at the hospital.

Memorial or Tribute Gifts:
Once you select unrestricted or restricted gifting, you can choose how to remember or pay tribute to a family member or friend. Please discuss this with the RCHC Foundation Director.
