Occupational Therapists can work with a wide variety of patients ranging from infants to older adults. Occupational therapy helps restore, modify, adapt, and establish roles and skills to gain as much independence as possible to improve overall quality of life. Occupational therapist can work with individuals to improve general strength, assess fine and gross motor abilities, cognition, general developmental delay, chronic diseases or pain, workplace safety and ergonomic, and so much more! Occupational therapists use interventions of everyday activities/occupations to promote health, well-being, and the ability to participate in meaningful tasks in your life.

Occupational therapists and occupational therapy assistants are licensed professionals who provide services to all ages in various settings: home, communities, schools, nursing homes, hospitals, or outpatient services. Occupational therapists can also provide consultation regarding health information technology, education, health promotion programs, driving and community mobility, and more.
