RCHC Celebrates 75 years with Community Barbecue
Atwood, Kansas – On May 7, 2025, Rawlins County Health Center (RCHC) will celebrate 75 years of providing healthcare to Rawlins County and the surrounding communities. While there have been many changes in the last 75 years, the mission of providing the highest quality patient care to everyone who comes to our facility has remained the same.
To mark this milestone, the Rawlins County community is invited to a free community barbecue 11:30 am to 1:00 pm, Wednesday, May 7, Columbian Hall. This will be a sit-down event, but “to-go” orders will also be available. Thank you to Rawlins County Health Foundation for sponsoring the 75th anniversary celebration.
As part of the celebration, RCHC invited students to design a special 75th Anniversary logo. Fourteen creative entries were submitted, and after receiving 100 community votes, student artist Dominique Paz was selected as the winner. The commemorative logo will be featured on a small gift, available at the barbecue event, while supplies last.
